水性聚氨酯涂料，就是用水性聚氨酯作为主要原料生产的水性涂料，由于用水作为分散体系，无毒，无气味，不易燃烧，加上水性聚氨酯涂料的柔韧性好，耐磨擦性好，耐化学性和耐久性都十分优异，因此，从上世纪六十年代开始水性聚氨酯就开始快速广泛应用于水性木器漆，橡塑涂料，各种防水涂料，防腐涂料，纺织物涂层，皮革涂料，印刷油墨，合成胶、特别是汽车内饰用橡胶、建筑用橡胶、甚至水性聚氨酯还被用于新能源锂电池电解反应中。
